Animals First

The book "Animals First:The story of the leading Australian zoologist at the time David Fleay by his daughter Rosemary is a valued addition to any crypto zoologist collection of book ornate and endangered australian fauna.
Fleay was born in 1907 in Ballarat and became famous for his early captive breeding of endangered species.
From our perspective, he is of interest due to his early thylacine hunts and work he did to find and try and save this amazing animal.
He was the last person to photograph a captive thylacine and was also justifiably proud to have been bitten on the buttock by one.
